This year will see a General Election and Local Elections, most probably on the same day - Thursday 6th May 2010. Helen is backing Mark Hunter MP for Cheadle constituency in the General Election, and local hardworking campaigner Pauline Banham for the Bramhall North Ward in the Local Elections.

Helen said, "Mark Hunter has been a very hardworking MP for the past five years. He has stood up for the local area and made a real difference. He has not been tainted with the Expenses row as he always claimed within the rules and has made no claims on his family home in Bramhall. I am supporting him to continue his good work for many more years to come.

In Bramhall North we have an exceptional local candidate in Pauline Banham. Pauline has lived in the the ward for over 15 years and has worked at the local primary school for most of them. Pauline is committed to serving the residents of Bramhall North."

Please help us to elect these two hardworking people and vote Liberal Democrat in both elections. If you are likely to be away on polling day, you can sign up for a postal vote or a proxy vote. The link below will take you to the appropriate pages.

If you can help in any way, please contact me using the 'Contact Helen' button on the left. We always need help with delivering leaflets and canvassing, or you could help on election day at a polling station. If you would like to display a poster at election time, please let me know."
