This year will see a General Election and Local Elections, most probably on the same day - Thursday 6th May 2010. Helen is backing Mark Hunter MP for Cheadle constituency in the General Election, and local hardworking campaigner Pauline Banham for the Bramhall North Ward in the Local Elections.

Helen is able to confirm that at next year's Remembrance Day service in Bramhall there will be a total road closure in place during the entire service and not just the 2 minutes silence as this year.

Residents have contacted Helen and Mark Hunter MP concerned over a new planning application by Permission Homes to develop the landfill site accessed at the end of Midland Road for 163 flats.
